DIFFICULTIES STRENGTHEN THE MIND
CROSSFIT TOWER METHOD
JUST LIKE FATIGUE STRENGTHENS THE BODY
Here at CrossFit Tower Pisa box, we prepare our athletes in a complete and gradual way for diversified and different intensity workouts, with the aim of improving their physical performance, mental attitude and psychophysical health and well-being. Our programmes are designed to offer a full physical preparation, from basic to advanced movements, from weightlifting to gymnastics. Our workouts consist of always different functional movements (i.e. pushing, pulling, lifting, etc.) performed at high intensity, always aware of each one’s abilities. Every day, we plan a different type of training, the so-called Workout Of the Day (WOD), supervised by at least one CrossFit certified coach. Here, you are free to practice CrossFit as your basic physical activity, as a method to keep yourself active and fit, or as an actual sport, including competitive activity and preparation for competitions.
The first step is to arrange an appointment and visit us to enroll in our Guest Week, a full training week where you can get to know our coaches, get acquainted with the environment and try 3 CrossFit lessons, so you can have a complete overview of the hottest sport around.
The On-Ramp programme is a 3-lesson course, where you will be followed by a dedicated personal trainer who will teach you the theory of CrossFit and the 9 fundamental movements you will use during your WOD. At the end of each lesson, you will take part to a WOD, designed to fit your physical condition, which will allow you to become familiar with the world of CrossFit. Each lesson lasts approximately 1 hour and consists of a 15-min warm-up, 15 minutes dedicated to learning the exercises, 15 minutes of recap and consolidation, and finally 15 minutes of On-Ramp WOD.
The On-Ramp course is a prerequisite for accessing the standard classes for all those who have never practiced CrossFit before.
After completing the On-Ramp programme, you will have acquired the basics to join one of the classes held during the day, along with all the other athletes. Each class lasts about an hour, including a 15 to 20min warm up, another 20mins dedicated to learning the specific movements of the WOD and another 10 to 20mins dedicated to completing the WOD.
